When Jeremy and I first decided to pursue the opportunity to open a gym and live in Asheville, we were very… reluctant. Reluctant about leaving what we had established as, our roots… our friends, who in the absence of our own, quickly became, our family.
SCCF is and always will be, our very first baby. So of course we wanted to leave her (him?) in very safe hands – in fell Rick, an obvious choice, and over the past year, he did just that. He watched over her like a hawk, making sure the floors were cleaned, the equipment maintained and you, our family, was happy… or as happy as we could possibly make you!
So, when Rick decided to transition out of the day-to-day operations roll (because he’s an old man who wants to sky dive all day every day <3 I love you Rick!!!) we thought…. “but, who will take over?” We of course wanted to replace him with someone who cared about the success of SCCF as deeply as we do… So, in fell another obvious choice – our very own Coty Bradburn.
Since day 1, Coty had shown strong skills in leadership (how about those awesome Jerk blocks and gym garden?!) Friendship – quickly getting to know all the members and meshing in as if he had been around forever, but above all, Coty very sincerely cared about his athletes, and it showed. The compliments on his coaching style, his work ethic, and his overall gym demeanor poured in. Coty is a blessing, we are so lucky to be able to have him as a part of our team, and you are so lucky to be able to now call him your new gym Manager!
Rick will still be around, working hand in hand with Jeremy on growing the SOF WODs brand, and helping Coty as he continues to learn and grow as a manager, but if you have any questions, concerns, complaints, suggestions etc. please feel free to reach out to Coty directly – firstname.lastname@example.org
It goes without being said, but, we know you will show him the same respect you would show Me, Rick and Jeremy. You’re in good hands. (allstate commercial?).
Miss you always,
Abby, Jeremy, Kinder, Wyatt, Chupa & Diesel
