Paige Picolla!

Ok, where do we even begin… This girl, brings an anergy into any room she walks into! Her smile, optimism, wonderful sense of humor, dedication, determination and outside of the box mentality, are just a few of the reasons we had to give her July’s honor of Athlete of the Month.

The coolest thing about Paige, is that she has dedicated countless hours to improving herself as an individual, not only in the box, but pretty much everywhere she goes. Crowders mountain with a vest, yoga on a SUP, wall walks at home, recipes on her blog, fitness tips via Instagram – she tracks it all, blooper-reels included!

She asks questions, listens to her coaches, and grows because of it. There aren’t enough good things to say about this chick, she’s a role model to us all – and we are SO LUCKY to have her as a friend, and athlete.

How were you introduced to CrossFit?

My brother competed in the squad gauntlet and I came to watch!

Favorite Exercise? 

Power Snatches are my jam

Exercise Nemesis: 

Pullups/toes to bar…so body weight anything.

Favorite cheat foods: 

Caramel Apple Pie Talenti, pizza, carrot cake

Proudest CF accomplishment: 

Getting my first hspu. Upside down is weird.

What I love most about SCCF:

The programming, the support and the people that provide such a great and knowledgeable atmosphere to workout in. The SCCF community rocks.
