With only 2.5 weeks until the start of the CrossFit Open, we will enter into a very metabolic training phase, to fine tune our motors. Expect a good amount of intensity and longer aerobic sessions on the conditioning side of the house. While the Strength piece will see some volume squatting and barbell cycling.
During the Open we will train hard Monday-Wednesday, with movements and energy systems we are likely to encounter. I highly recommend using Thursday as a rest/recovery/mobility day. Friday we will post the Open workout as the gym WOD in Wodify and crush it as a group!
If you’re interested in conducting a re-fire of the workout, we will try to make open gym time available on Sunday’s, for those interested.
